"Where Culture Meets Commerce"
WePlenty is more than a B2B marketplace — it’s a movement built to bridge the gap between First Nations cultural values and modern commerce.
Founded by Ramone Close, a proud First Nations entrepreneur, WePlenty was born from lived experience. Ramone saw firsthand the barriers that First Nations business owners face when trying to access meaningful procurement opportunities. After listening closely to both buyers and sellers, he recognised the urgent need for a system that could remove friction, build trust, and create long-term impact.
Together with Dilan, a technology subject matter expert who has worked extensively in the small business sector, the duo created a platform designed to solve the real problems Indigenous businesses face — not just in visibility, but in readiness, compliance, and digital support.
WePlenty isn’t just a marketplace. It’s an elaborate support system built from the ground up for First Nations small businesses. We help sellers grow, scale, and meet the standards buyers expect — all while staying grounded in culture and community.
We proudly VET every business on the platform to ensure:
- Aboriginality is confirmed through Supply Nation or equivalent verification
- Businesses meet legal and commercial standards
- Policies and procedures align with corporate and government expectations
- We highlight key indicators such as 100% Indigenous-owned, Female-owned, Social Enterprise Certification, and Local or Regional representation
At WePlenty, we’re creating a space where buyers can confidently engage with Indigenous suppliers — and where mob-owned businesses are seen, valued, and supported.
WePlenty exists because the future of procurement must include us.
