Our story began in 2017. What started out as a simple opportunity for old friends (Co-Founders, Kevin Caton and Ami Appel) to work together, today, has grown into a collaboration with a bigger purpose. As an Indigenous businessman, Kuppa has been a vital way for Kevin to continue his passion and work in creating sustainable opportunities for his community. But more importantly, as a Father, Kuppa has allowed Kevin to work alongside his children. Kevin is inspired by the strong teachings passed on by his mother and songlines attached to his county. His dreaming is the Emu and in Aboriginal legend, emus are known as creator spirits and incredibly helpful. The emu helped the people of the land navigate what was happening in the world around them. Like the Emu, we at Kuppa believe it is our responsibility to help those around us. By coming together, we hope to be able to create a better future for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people for generations to come. We're grateful to be able to share our passion with you.
