Turrbal Dippil – Welcome to Country Ceremony
The Turrbal Welcome to Country Ceremony is a traditional cultural service delivered by members of the Turrbal people, recognising their ancestral connections to Brisbane and surrounding Country.
A Welcome to Country is a meaningful cultural protocol that formally welcomes visitors, acknowledges the enduring connection of Aboriginal people to Country, and demonstrates respect for First Nations culture, history and traditions.
Ideal for corporate events, conferences, official ceremonies, community gatherings, government functions and reconciliation activities, the ceremony provides an opportunity to honour Traditional Custodians and strengthen cultural understanding.
